goals... i think my goals since i was a child .. no my dream since i was a child was to be a forensic anthropologist .. i don't think that's what i was to do anymore.. i think i wanna be a righter . i don't know if it could ever actually happen though.. what would i wright about? i would work at a publishing company.. as an author, hopefully a suspenseful one. i would love to be a stay at home mom and wright books.. take care of the family.. clean, cook.. wright books. that's what i would love my life to be like. i think i will read some publishing books and work on my grammar. i really do love English class... i just don't like the teacher sometimes.
i really hope this works out the way i want it to.

3.A text you couldn't put down. Ever stayed up really late because you couldn't stop reading? Explain in detail how this text was so good you just couldn't stop reading it. where were you? What was the result? Describe your experience with this text.

without a doubt the Chronicles of Vladimir Tod. the forth one. i had been waiting for it to come out because the 3 totally leaves you off the edge of a cliff!  i got the book after a year of waiting and i sat down and read the book at home in my room in 2 days. it was in the middle of summer so it didn't seam that long :p  this book was good because i had bean so exited to read it and it totally went way past my expectation and the story is just amazing. i love it <3. 

i started reading the series in gr 8 when i got the first 3 at the same time and i totally fell in love with it. the series has finished at the 5th book and there is now an off series that connects to the books. and that is what i love so much about it <3

2. A text that helped you discover your love of reading. What text finally made you someone who actually likes to read? What was it about this particular text? Explain in detail how this book shaped you into a reader.

This is the first question that popes out at me the first second I look at the handout. The reason I didn't do it first was because my OCD says that I have to go in order 1..2...3.. so I'm finally getting to this question now and I'm exited. The reason i love this question is because it fits me so perfectly.

I know allot of people are just going to say 'oh just another annoying fan girl, it will pas' ... but I truly do love this book because without it, i would still be at a grad 2 reading level and not be able to write or read properly. The book that changed my concept of reading was, twilight... i know i know... but it did. I love the series I really do. I first read this book over the summer of  09, and I've bean reading since. I love this book so much I just wanted to see if there where others out there like it. I have yet to find one though.. but i still have plenty of time. the thing about this book that makes me able to adore it so much is just the story and the way it was written. the way Stephenie Meyer describes things, how its so easy to get lost in this world of hers.
this book didn't just shape me into a better reader, it changed my view on many things, readings only the beginning of it.                      

reading blogs- #1.a diffident take on things

1. A text that made you think differently. Discuss in detail how it challenged your thinking and how you are a more intelligent or insightful person thanks to this text.

I'v read many books in my short 16 years considering i only really started reading about 2 years ago. So to answer the question above, i think its a tie between two texts.One being Murder Afloat by Jane Leslie Conly and the living dead girl by Elizabeth Scott. 

Murder Afloat was a book that made me really think about how hard life is for some people.
This book is about a young boy who gets kidnapped and is forced to to work aboard the Ella dawn, the most ill reputed ostering ship aboard. http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/8256467-murder-afloat  . Its a text that i read about a year ago and a text that i still very much love.  


the Living Dead girl was a book i read only a few months ago. this book is about a ten year old girl that gets kidnapped and her expirience. http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2954411-living-dead-girl . this story is graphic and really disgusted me at some points.. but the hold it has on you to keep reading, is magnificent. this book made me  think differently about the concept of life and to appreciate what i have more. i also think it made me a much better reader because of the way the story jumps around at some points makes you really have to pay attention.
